Alors, pour ce qui se demandent où nous en sommes, voici un petit tour d'horizon. Six mois après les débuts du chantier et trois après l'emménagement raté.
We are back! During these three weeks, things did not really move forward. Some of the craftsmen were again here re-doing their job. Therefore, we could not work for a complete week. We took the opportunity to breath a little, to go in the city and search lamps for the kitchen and the bathroom. We went back also to Grindelwald with our sledge. The weather was just great and we enjoyed nice downhills. Sometimes even scary.
So, for those who are wondering where we are, here is a little summarize. Six months after starting the renovation, three months after failing with moving in.

The bathroom. It would have happened at our neighbour's place, I would have laughed... The plasterer came back for the 3rd time to fix the alcove for the mirror cabinet. Nevertheless I had to make some adjustment because it was quite wavy. Then, the painter came back again and again worked like a pig. Anyway, I adjusted what I could and I will re-do his silicone joints later. They are just a gag. For sure, tonight Mister Painter will get the Oscar of the worse craftsman for his performance in "Oops! I make rubbish in the bathroom!".

The guests toilets. Here again, the painter came back for re-doing his job. And here again, I re-did his job (sandpapering, coating and painting). The funny thing is that we will pay him for a work I have finally done! At least, the result is satisfying. Good job, mister Painter!

The kitchen. It was planned (on the request of the kitchen installator. No, no, this time, we did not say anything!), the kitchen has been dismantled because an element was not in accordance to quality criterion of the kitchen maker. We will take this opportunity to paint the kitchen (no time before) and to re-install the sliding door (in a better way).

The frame of the doors are stripped, sandpapered and painted. It takes time, it stinks but it's nicer.

The living room. Two months later, the parquet will be again sandpapered and varnished. Three wooden boards will be replaced. Tomorrow, Monday.

Le bureau de la Ginette. Presque fini: reste à huiler le parquet. On fera ça plus tard.
Regine's office. Almost done. Still have to oil the parquet. Later.

My study. I think I will let it like this. I like it. It looks like a warehouse convert in a loft (but still used as a warehouse - by a banana company). So cool. And cosy!

The bedroom. Almost done...

The stairs. We keep that for later. Our dessert. A little pleasure for Spring. Or Summer.
Et voilà! Reviendez dans queq'jours, devrait y-avoir du changement...
Here we go! Stay tuned! It should have some news in a few days...
